Permanent makeup is not right for everyone
Brow and lip pigment work is a procedure, not a cosmetic appointment, and some conditions make it unsafe. Please tell us before you book if any of the following apply to you.
- You are under 18
- You have had an allergic reaction to pigments, dyes or tattoo ink
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have diabetes
- You currently have COVID-19 or are unwell
- You take blood-thinning medication
Pre-care and aftercare
What you do in the week before your appointment, and in the days after it, affects the result as much as the appointment itself.
Before: avoid retinoids, acids and waxing for about a week, come without makeup if you can, and stay out of strong sun. After: keep the area clean and dry as instructed, no picking or scratching, and daily SPF once healed.
How booking works
Your deposit
A $50 deposit secures your appointment and comes off the price of your treatment. The deposit is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person or another booking.
Confirmations and reminders
You get a confirmation by text and email as soon as you book, and a reminder before your appointment, so the date never comes as a surprise.
If you are running late
We hold your slot for 15 minutes. After that the appointment is treated as a no-show and the cancellation fee applies, because the time cannot be offered to anyone else.

Frequently Asked Question
Every appointment starts with a professional skin analysis. Broadly: acne and congestion respond to Acne Treatment, Deep Pore Detox or a chemical peel; dark spots and uneven tone to Anti-Pigmentation Treatment or IPL; scarring and texture to microneedling; laxity and fine lines to RF microneedling. Dullness and dehydration before an event are best served by a HydraFacial, which has no downtime. Nothing is recommended before your skin has been assessed.
HydraFacial has essentially no downtime, and you can wear makeup the same day. Microneedling typically leaves redness like mild sunburn for about 24 to 48 hours; RF microneedling adds some swelling and can take 24 to 72 hours. Chemical peels cause mild flaking for roughly 3 to 7 days depending on depth. With IPL, pigmented spots often darken before shedding. Full aftercare guidance is given at your appointment.
Yes, with the right protocol. Treatment depth, acid strength and device settings are selected for your skin type and tone. Deeper skin tones carry a higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation with aggressive resurfacing, so protocols are adjusted and, where appropriate, the skin is prepared in advance. This is exactly what the initial skin analysis is for. Please mention any history of pigmentation, keloid scarring, active eczema, rosacea or recent isotretinoin use.
Before your appointment: avoid retinoids, acids and waxing for about a week, come without makeup if you can, and avoid sun exposure and self-tanner. Do not book a resurfacing treatment immediately before an event. Afterwards: no makeup for 24 hours following microneedling, no hot yoga, sauna, swimming or heavy exercise for 48 hours, use a gentle cleanser and daily SPF, and do not pick flaking skin. You are given specific aftercare for your treatment.
It depends on the concern and the treatment. HydraFacials work best as monthly maintenance. Microneedling and RF microneedling are usually done as several sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, because collagen remodelling continues between appointments. Peels and IPL are typically a short series followed by maintenance. Your course is set after the skin analysis, and it is reassessed as your skin responds.

The nearest subway is 34th St–Herald Square (B, D, F, M, N, Q, R, W), two blocks north, and 33rd St on the 6 line. We are open Wednesday to Sunday, 9am to 7pm, with Friday until 8pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
