What we send

• Booking confirmation when an appointment is made
• A reminder the day before the appointment
• A notice if an appointment is cancelled, moved or changed
• An aftercare check-in two days after a treatment
• Replies to client questions, as a two-way conversation with the studio
• For clients who tick the SMS box: an occasional reminder when they are due to rebook, and a one-time request for a Google review

Messages are sent by our website booking system and by our client messaging system (GoHighLevel). Both use the same number and the same consent record. We do not send messages to purchased lists.

How clients opt in

1. On our booking form (primary)

At mayasbeautyskin.com/book, the “Your Information” step collects name, email and mobile number and shows an unchecked checkbox labelled “Text messages from the studio”:

“Yes, text me appointment reminders and occasional offers from Maya Skin & Brow Studio. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Not required to book.”

The box is optional, is never pre-ticked, and an appointment can be booked without it. A separate, clearly labelled checkbox covers email only.

Directly beneath the booking form the same page carries this notice, with live links: “By giving us your mobile number and ticking ‘Text messages from the studio’ above, you agree to receive text messages from Maya Skin & Brow Studio at (833) 631-5566 about your appointment, plus occasional rebooking reminders. Consent is not required to book. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time.” It links to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and this page.

2. In the studio

Clients who book in person are asked whether they would like text reminders. Their answer is recorded on their booking record, the same field the website writes to.

3. By replying to us

A client who texts the studio first is answered on the same number.

Frequency, cost and opting out

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also call (646) 881-4643. Stopping texts does not cancel an appointment.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers, or consent to receive text messages, with anyone else for their own marketing.
